Godets (pie shaped pieces of fabric) are commonly used to add more flare to the hem of a flamenco skirt.
In this video tutorial I explain a simple method for inserting a godet into the seam of a flamenco skirt – easy and works every time!
There are obviously several ways of achieving the same result. The method explained in this video tutorial is ideal when you are making a skirt and haven’t yet sewn together the skirt panels.
