Why not convert it into a funky bag that shows the world that you love flamenco – to go shopping, to dance classes, the gym or wherever you fancy going and need a bag with lots of room.

If you have some ruffles from another project you’ll be done in no time. If you haven’t got any – no problem – it is easy to make ruffles and you only need about 2 meters (maybe more or less depending on the size of the jeans) of ruffles which you can cut from 0.5 – 1m of fabric, depending on the size of ruffles you like).

I used a dog leash as the strap. If you don’t have a dog and/or don’t have a spare leash you can try a long belt or just make one from sturdy fabric. I just wanted this project to be entirely from recycled materials (and as little work as possible). I threaded the leash through the belt loops. They are heavy duty and have been holding up just fine.
